Coromandel Town Wedding
There’s something undeniably magical about capturing a maternity session—a time when anticipation and love fill the air. Talei and Hamish’s shoot at my local in Te Kouma on the Coromandel was no exception.
From the moment I met Talei and Hamish, I knew this session was going to be something special. They’re one of those couples whose warmth and genuine connection make you feel right at home. And to top it off, I discovered that they both have ties to families I already know in the community! It’s always such a treat to realize how small and wonderfully interconnected our communities can be.
Talei was positively glowing. She radiated joy and that undeniable magic of someone carrying new life. The way Hamish looked at her—equal parts love, and excited anticipation—was a reminder of the kind of partnership that makes life’s big moments even more meaningful.
As we walked along the beach, chatting and laughing between shots, I couldn’t help but reflect on my own experience of this transformative stage of life. There’s this incredible feeling of standing on the brink of something so vast, so full of possibility. It’s a time to imagine what’s to come—a future filled with new adventures, new challenges, and a new kind of love.
