Coromandel Town Wedding
There were so many wonderful things about this wedding (including the fact that it was in my local stomping grounds in Coromandel Town) but the most obvious was the loving connection that Britney and Alex shared.
I was lucky to photograph an engagement shoot for them and have plenty of time to laugh and chat about how they first met. Funny story, soon after meeting Britney, Alex not only got to meet her parents, but all the rellies too at a huge family reunion! Talk about ice-breakers....!
Have I mentioned how much I love kids at weddings? There is never a dull moment and their wedding was no exception! James and Emily got to witness their parents promise to be together forever through the thick or thin of it at the Havelona Pyramid near Driving Creek Railway. I loved to see how besotted the children's grandparents were, but also how much Britney and Alex's friends loved their kids too. Sooooo much love!
After a wander around all the local spots and a few glasses of champers we'd completed the bridal party shots and headed to the Pepper Tree for dinner where their friends and family couldn't have praised their union any more. It was clear how much Alex's dad was missed from the celebrations and how proud he would have been to see them married.
Thank you for choosing me and for being such kind and wonderful people. Cheers to lots of exciting things for the future and to the prospect of making Coromandel your stomping grounds in the future too! Lots of hugs!
